During my second postdoc at Aarhus University in Denmark, I organized sampling campaigns in German freshwater lakes and brackish coastal areas. The focus was on so-called cable bacteria and their role in bioremediation in collaboration with the German company Oase and Söll GmbH. I also received a Marie Curie grant from the EU to study cable bacteria and N2O.
