During my Ph.D. at University Tübingen in Germany I was working on iron-metabolizing microbes living in aquatic environments. I was in the field sampling sediment mud at Lake Constance in South Germany and Aarhus Bay in Denmark. The outcomes were published in international journals and I started with outreach projects: writing for Frontiers for young minds, KlarText Article and creating scientific illustrations :)
